Ready for the healthy life? Well you better be because we are getting started. Only vegetables, quinoa, seaweed and all those things. I know it seems difficult and almost impossible because well it is. That is why I present to you Céline’s diet a new and fun way to make eating healthy easy.

First a little bit about me. I’m 23 I was born in Los Angeles but I moved when I was 18. So now I live in Vancouver and I can tell you I absolutely adore Canada. I love the people, the environment but most of all the food! I’m engaged to my lovely fiance Brad. We work out together every monday,wednesday,tuesday, saturday and sunday.

Did you know?????

  • People who eat spicy food tend to live longer… so come spice it up with me

  • Tomatoes shouldn’t be stored in the fridge because they lose their flavor.
  •  A lemon has more sugar than a strawberry.
  • Stickers on fruit are edible but I still wouldn’t recommend it.

My favourite dish

My fave dish would definitely be pasta scampi althought I do always love a fresh salad. Now why do I love this dish? It’s quite simple I just love shrimps and well who doesn’t like some fine italian pasta.

Here the recipe for those who are interested:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pk multigrain spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled)
  • 4 garlic cloves (mashed)
  • 1 small onion (cut up really small)
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 small ripe tomato (cut into thin slices)
  • handful cilantro
  • himalaya salt & pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ cup wine (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the garlic, onions and tomato slices.
  3. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and sauté for 5 minutes. Turn heat to low.
  5. Add butter, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, cilantro, wine, salt and pepper.
  6. Saute for another 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp is light golden.
  7. Pour the shrimp and sauce over the spaghetti and serve immediately.

My favourite restaurant

I’m going to let you all in on my little secret. There is this absolutely adorable restaurant near my appartement it’s called Tabl’o, fortunately for me not people know this restaurant. They serve healthy food at an affordable price. I always go there with fiance Brad, because it is super cosy and quite so we can have deep conversations. Maybe it so not smart of me to share this information because I’d totaly get it if someone was stalking me, but I trust you guys.
